Forgiveness
Several months ago, Bishop McNair and I were talking. Just about random things within the ward. Then, out of the blue, Bishop said, "Jenn, you need to forgive Chad." Up to this point, he has not been mentioned in my blogs. I try not to mention him. When Bishop said this to me, I thought, "I have forgiven him." and then I thought, "What is Bishop tuning into that I'm not seeing?" That has stood out to me so much over the past few months. Today I taught a class at a women's conference in Anchorage about "Joyfully Single". In this class a lady mentioned the power of forgiveness. She said that forgiveness will make you free. That through faith...forgiveness just comes. Kind of like a natural reaction. I thought about how much forgiveness can just come. Then I went to lunch with a dear friend, Chris Heimlich. At lunch I was discussing all of this with him. He said that as he was talking with a counselor, the counselor said that if you kneel down and pray specifically for the person that hurt you. And pray daily for a period of time, that forgiveness will come and ease the pain. I want to forgive that man. I'm going to put forth more conscious effort to do so. Take action. Make the choice.

Spirit Reunion
I spent last week at the Debenhams. House/kid sitting again. It was great just like last year. So I spent Valentine's day with them. As the kids were at school during the day...I took a card and flowers to Maud at work. (Stargazer lilie's-we're both big fans) We were so excited to see each other since the air around us is never as sweet when we are apart. So I finished at Debenhams on Saturday and on Sunday returned to good old Susitna ward. Extactic about another reunion with Maud, she had brought me a Valentine's gift. Stargazer Lilie's, a bag of pistachios, (my favorite nut) and the coolest homemade card that apparently she spent a lot of time making. I've talked with Josh about Maud. Well, not specifically Maud, but she was the reason for my comments. I told him that I feel like my spirit remembers other spirits...from the pre-existence. It's that "spiritual connection" that we so often speak about. But I feel it deeper with some. Like I truly remember them. People like Jonathon, Maud, Christen. I know that our spirits remember each other, and the reunion of our spirits seems to bring my spirit closer to my Heavenly Father and Savior. What a neat family I have.
